In SAS's official documentation, the Disaster Recovery solution is addressed using the backup-restore method. However, for some of our clients, real-time workloads are very intensive, and the time lost during backup restore does not meet SLA requirements. With the advancement of new technologies, we believe that the Disaster Recovery solution should now be approached through replication, rather than backup-restore.
